Features
Everything you need to invoice and get paid is free. Features marked Pro are part of the paid plan.
Retainers and prepaid balances Pro
Your client pays a set amount up front. As you work, your tracked time (or a fixed amount) is drawn from the balance, and nothing more is owed until it runs out.
- Fund a retainer with a normal invoice; the balance starts when it is paid
- Draw tracked time against it in one click, with nothing owed
- If time runs past the balance, draw what is left and invoice the rest
- A low-balance warning so you know when to ask for a top-up
- A statement page your client can open any time to see every draw
Time tracking to invoice Pro
Log time on a month calendar or with a start and stop timer, then bill it.
- Rates come from your services and are locked in when you save
- Projects to group work for a client, with no extra busywork
- Turn unbilled time into an invoice: one line per entry, grouped by service or project, or one total
- Add time to a new invoice or one you are already drafting
Recurring invoices and auto-pay
Set up an invoice once and it goes out on schedule: weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
- Sent automatically, or created as a draft for you to check
- Fill in the month and dates automatically, like “Hosting for October 2026”
- Discount just the first few invoices
- Pause, skip one, or end any time
- Pro: charge the client’s saved card on the date, with their recorded permission
Payment plans and deposits
Split an invoice the way you actually get paid.
- Deposit and balance, equal installments, or your own milestones
- Each payment has its own due date and reminders
- Clients can pay the next payment or the whole balance online
- Pro: charge each payment to a saved card on its due date
Proposals that become invoices
Send a proposal (or call it an estimate or a quote) with a scope, a price, and optional extras.
- Clients pick the options they want and see the total change
- They accept online by typing their name, and you get a record of it
- Ask for a deposit and they can pay it right away
- Accepted proposals turn into invoices automatically
Online payments
Connect your own Stripe account so clients can pay by card, and by bank transfer if you turn it on.
- Money goes straight to your Stripe account
- Partial payments with a minimum you choose
- Refunds from the invoice, full or partial
- Receipts sent for you
- A small, published fee on online payments only (see pricing)
